MANILA, Philippines — September 19, 2026 — The UE Caloocan Alumni Association, Inc. (UECAAI) fielded two teams at the UE Bowling Tournament 2026, held at Paeng’s Midtown Bowl at Adriatico, Manila.
The tournament, organized by the UE Alumni Association, Inc., was part of the activities celebrating the University of the East’s 80th Foundation Anniversary and bringing together alumni from different UE communities. UE President and CEO Battad was present and performed the ceremonial first throw, officially launching the bowling activity.
UECAAI was represented by two teams—the Yellow Team headed by Connie (team captain), Gigi, Jhing, Novem, Rose and Tina; and the Green Team headed by Nova (team captain), Joey, Miriam, Wilson and Moe, both proudly carried UE Caloocan Alumni Association name on the bowling lanes.
The Green Team delivered a particularly notable performance, advancing as one of the finalists and finishing in the Top 5 overall. Their strong finish gave UECAAI another reason to celebrate as a second timer winners in the bowling feat. The Yellow Team likewise represented UECAAI with pride, contributing to the association’s strong presence in the tournament and sharing in the spirit of friendly competition and alumni fellowship.
For UECAAI, the event provided an opportunity for its alumni to come together for camaraderie, compete, and celebrate their continuing connection to the university.
